The office got 4 full-sized CAD/CAAD work stations (AutoCAD based systems). Colour prints (up to 25 square feet) with intranet-integrated plotter.

About the use of CAD:
Since 1994 we use CAD. From a kind of toy in the beginning it became the most im-portant tool for our every day work.
Advantages:
CAD makes possible the fast interchange of designs with other engineering or special companies, also in different formats. So, for example, we can load the digital site-plan down in our system and fix the project in its exact later position.
The whole project is defined in coordinates, so you can get every measure absolutely exact. This bans a lot of the risks which normaly appear at the construction site.
Last but not least: After finishing the building the CAD-files are an ideal base informa-tion for an effective facility management. That's your advantage.
